3 Barrel Aged Imperial Stouts Dropping at Pressure Drop Brewing

Pressure Drop is releasing their resident imperial stout, Blacklicious, barrel aged three ways – Rum, Rye, and Bourbon – on February 13. Bourbon 2020 was aged in Tommyrotter bourbon barrels, Rye 2020 was aged in Hartman Distilling rye whiskey barrels, and Rum 2020 was aged in Lakeward Spirits rum barrels. 500mL bottles are $13. Triple Stout Release This Weekend at 42 North Brewing

42 North is releasing a trio of stouts, Horchata Stout (inspired by Mexican-style Horchata with cinnamon, vanilla, and almond milk from Elmhurst 1925), Bourbon Barrel Aged Red Army Russian Imperial Stout (coffee, chocolate, caramel, dark fruits, vanilla, and oak), and Fenian’s Raid Dry Irish Stout (brewed with Northern Brewer Hops), on February 13. Big Ditch Teams with Mr. Goodbar for February Beer Club

For their monthly Virtual Beer Club, Mr. Goodbar has teamed with Thin Man, Flying Bison, and now Big Ditch, who will join them on February 10 (8pm). New Smoothie Beer Coming to First Line Brewing

On February 11, First Line will release their first ever smoothie-style beer, Boozie Smoothie, a Strawberry, Marshmallow, and Pop Tart Smoothie-style Beer, that was conditioned on strawberry purée, fluffy marshmallows, and Pop Tarts. This beer doesn’t contain lactose. 4-pack 16oz. cans are $20.

Triple Beer Release at Thin Man This Weekend

On February 12, Thin Man will release their Enrico Palazzo Imperial Stout, a collaboration with Bluejacket (Washington, D.C.) and Mean Sardine Brewery (Ericera, Portugal), that was aged in Tommyrotter bourbon barrels for 13 months. This beer features cold brew coffee from Buffalo (Public) and Maryland (Vigilante) and flavors of dark chocolate, coffee, light vanilla, and peppers. They will also release Habitable Exoplanets, a peach, blackberry raspberry sour ale, and Mondo Cane, a Diamant dry hopped Italian Style Pilsner. Preorder now on Oznr.

Tasting Notes:

  • 12 Gates Brewing will release Lovers Blood Chocolate Milk Stout on February 10 (4pm). This stout has been aged on milk sugar with pure cacao, strawberries, and raspberries.

  • Buffalo Brewing will release Luscious Loganberry Porter on February 12 (4pm). This is their 1813 Porter blended with 1890 Loganberry with more Loganberry concentrate added.
