12 Gates Brewing Company in Williamsville is proud to announce the forthcoming opening of its second location in Fall 2022. The new taproom, 12 Gates of EVL, will be located at 14 Washington Street in Ellicottville.
Ellicottville is a vibrant community with a thirst for craft beer. The adventurous lifestyle of those who live and frequent the area perfectly aligns with 12 Gates’ interests. Over the past few years, the team has been spending more and more time there and is eager to put down roots. EVL is the popular acronym for the village which is proudly displayed at many local businesses on signage and on merchandise.
The 12 Gates Jeep Club holds bi-annual Trail Rides just outside of Ellicottville and it’s become a second home to many. The proximity to mountains and nature coupled with an incredible food and drink scene makes it the perfect fit for the new taproom.
“You can already find our beer in the village at Ellicottville Coffee Company and on draft at several locations,” Tom Kirchmeyer, one 12 Gates co-founders, says. “We’ve seen a lot of support for our beer in the area and we’re excited to share an even wider selection with the visitors. Off-Road Session IPA is a perfect beer for those that love IPAs but want a beer they can drink a few of after spending time off-road either on a hike, mountain biking, or Jeeping in the mud! Ellicottville is now a four season destination and the community has done a great job promoting events not only during the popular ski season, but all year long, and we are excited to now be a part of that scene.”
