Hofbrauhaus Buffalo Set to Tap Dunkelweizen

Hofbrauhaus will tap their Dunkel Weizen on November 3 (6pm) with the help of honorary barrel tappers from Sadie’s Safe Harbor Canine Rescue. The festivities kick off with a traditional parade followed by the tapping. Die Haus Band will take the stage at 6pm. Dunkel Weizen offers notes of roasted malt, coffee, cocoa, toffee, and dark fruit. All guests will receive a complimentary 0.3L of the beer, while Stein Club Members will receive a complimentary full liter. Hofbrauhaus recommends pairing it with Brotzeitteller, Sauerbraten or Apfelstrudel mit Schokolade Eis. Grab a reservation here.

Third Annual NYS Pint Days Returns November 21

The 3rd annual New York State Pint Days, a statewide event where $1 per glass sold at participating breweries directly supports the New York State Brewers Association, returns, Nov. 21 – 27. Each year the NYS Pint Days Glass features a unique design that celebrates NYS craft beer. This year’s winning design comes from Sara Kelly of Argyle Brewing. “The design was created with NYS’s special qualities in mind,” Kelly said. “I wanted to represent the cities, towns, waterways, and agricultural rural areas that make up the state.” You can purchase a glass at Big Inlet Brewing, Britesmith Brewing, Hamburg Brewing, Pressure Drop, Resurgence Brewing, Rusty Nickel Brewing, West Shore Brewing, Windy Brew and Woodcock Brothers.

Pressure Drop to Release New Chocolate Milk Stout 

On November 4, Pressure Drop Brewing is set to release Greetings from the North Pole, a 7% chocolate milk stout brewed with roasted chocolate malt and lactose to create rich flavors and a sweet, creamy mouthfeel. Greetings from the North Pole will be available on draft and in 16oz. 4-packs to go. The beer will then be available wherever great beer is sold.

Pearl Street Brewery to Celebrate 25th Anniversary

Buffalo craft beer institution Pearl Street Brewery is turning 25 years old on November 10 (5-7pm) and they are requesting your attendance at an anniversary soiree. The celebration will take place at Brawler’s Deli (located in the basement of Pearl Street) and will feature the release of Bourbon Oak Aged Imperial Trainwreck Amber Ale, as well as free samples of Brawler’s upcoming new BBQ food menu. There will also be food and drink specials, a live show from WGR 550 and brewery swag giveaways.

Big Ditch Brewing Announces New Mixed 12 Packs

Big Ditch continues to add to their packaged portfolio after the opening of their new production brewery, this time adding a new mixed 12 pack to their arsenal consisting of 3 12oz. cans each of Hayburner IPA, Dayburner Session IPA, Low Bridge Golden Ale and a rotating Limited Release beer, the first of which will be Kringle Juice IPA for the upcoming winter season. Big Ditch’s new mixed 12 packs can be found at the taproom right now and wherever else great craft beer is sold soon.

42 North Brewing Rolls Out New Yodeler Winter Ale

42 North is adding a new seasonal beer to its lineup, Yodeler Winter Ale, a spiced amber ale crafted for the winters of Western New York. Featuring hints of ginger, cinnamon, and a touch of vanilla, Yodeler promises to be the ideal winter sipper after a day on the slopes and trails. Yodeler will make its debut at 42 North’s taproom on November 5 (1p) with a ceremonial first tapping featuring a duo of Alphorn players. Yodeler will then be available wherever else great craft beer is sold.
