42 North Brewing is turning four on October 19. The anniversary marks four years of local and innovative brewing in the village of East Aurora, NY. To celebrate quality brews, authentic ingredients and community collaboration, the brewery will open its doors and showcase the new event space, freshly-updated packaging, expanded brewery operations and the The Lofts @ 42N. The Anniversary beer menu will feature a new 42 Below Barrel-Aged Release ‘Lost’ (a mixed-culture brett beer), vintage reserve offerings and a special Anniversary IPA. The first 50 fans through the door will receive a free flight.

Joining the brewery for the jamboree is Misuta Chow’s with a special kitchen takeover menu & arcade pop-up, Hatchets & Hops’ Axewagon activation and East Aurora’s own MUSEjar Art hosting a growler painting class in the 42 Below Barrel-Room. Live music starts at 8pm with Lockport’s “Laces Out” and award-winning chalk artist Erika Thurkins from Sylph Art Studios.

42 North has been busy this year adding new features to the brewery’s appeal. The Day Trekker IPA, a cause-based session IPA was released in the Spring with proceeds benefiting the Western New York Mountain Bike Association. That was followed up with a string of fruited gose releases and three new 42 Below Barrel-House brews that highlighted year three of the area’s first brewery barrel-house.

Spot the the six foot illuminated compass and you’ll see the new 6,600 SQFT addition off the Southwestern end of the existing brewery. The new building is home to adding production space for a canning line and brite tanks, a new conference room with four massive adjustable hardwood tables for rent and the Lofts @ 42 featuring four rentable AirBNB units allowing fans to stay overnight at the brewery.
