Celebrate the Season in Traditional Fashion at Thin Man’s Oktoberfest

The all-day affair will feature copious amounts of beer, traditional Oktoberfest themed food, and German music from 25-piece band German American Musicians Association Inc. Annual Harvest Fest Returns to Lockport’s New York Beer Project

The 4-1 Buffalo Bills have their bye week this Sunday, so instead of spending your entire Sunday afternoon glued to your television, spend it celebrating the season at New York Beer Project’s Harvest Festival on October 13 (2pm). The family friendly event will feature complimentary wine and cider tastings (2-5pm), live music from Zak Ward and special fall varietal flights of NYBP’s Harvest Beer lineup, including Drunkin’ Punkin’ Imperial Pumpkin Ale, Buckleberry Wheat, Prost! Oktoberfest Lager and Vanilla Muffin Oatmeal Stout. The menu will also feature several fall-themed dishes as well. The event is free and open to the public.

Flying Bison Brewing Set to Host All America Day, Harvest Fest

Flying Bison have some busy weeks planned as they are set to host All America Day, an event centered around their All America City IPA, on October 12 (12pm) and Harvest Fest on 19 (12pm). For All America Day, if you buy a pint of All America City IPA, you keep the logo pint glass and get $3 refills after that. Harvest Fest will feature live music from Kickstart Rumble (1-4pm) and Farrow (5-8pm), as well as a Bavarian Biergarten Party Tent with German-style beer, beer games with prizes and authentic German music. Tickets are $10 (includes 1 drink ticket).

Resurgence Brewing’s Kegs & Eggs is Back and as Experimental as Ever

Kegs & Eggs is back at Resurgence Brewing (Niagara Street) on October 13 (11am) and with it comes a new slate of small batch experimental brews and breakfast food. For this installment, Resurgence is rolling out (Flight #1): Cranberry Citrus Sour, Kombucha Shandy (Hurricane and Sour combined), Blackberry Hard Seltzer and Blueberry Pie Sour, and (Flight #2): Tangerine IPA, Mango Head in the Clouds Double IPA, Butterfinger Imperial Milk Stout and Chocolate Pretzel Brandy Stout. Kegs & Eggs will also feature a pair of casks – Buffalo Brew Geeks Imperial Coffee Stout and Maple Pecan Oktoberfest. Breakfast will also be served!
