Karl Kolbe of Pressure Drop Brewing

On this episode, I chat with Karl Kolbe about Pressure Drop Brewing. Karl is the head brewer/CEO and is cranking out some killer West Coast IPAs. The day I was there he was finishing off a batch of Sticky Trees. If you haven’t had it yet, you should seek it out.
It was a really laid-back and nice conversation, proving how awesome the local brewers are.

Karl Kolbe and Lexi Craine started putting out beers at Pressure Drop back in November. Karl, the head brewer and CEO cut his teeth out in California at Knee Deep Brewing and began searching for a brewery location out west. The Barrel Factory was able to convince them to bring the operation back home (Karl is a Buffalo Native) and Pressure Drop was born. With a flare for crushable west-coast IPAs, there are many different options to try, and Karl says he doesn’t like to brew the same thing twice, so make sure you check out their list often.
Everybody loves a crushable West Coast IPA.
