Thin Man Brewery Teams with AO Buffalo For New Lager

Thin Man and the Buffalo chapter of the American Outlaws have partnered on Golden Boot Lager, which will be release on November 11. This 5.1% spunded lager is crisp, clean and refreshing; brewed with choice Canadian barley and German hops, fermented cold, naturally carbonated and conditioned for an extended time for notes of lightly toasted bread and delicate herbal hops. Look for Golden Boot on draft and in 12oz. 6-pack cans to go.

Woodcock Brothers Brewing Turns 10 This Weekend

Woodcock Brothers are turning 10 on November 12 (12pm) and are celebrating at their Wilson headquarters. They will continue offering free chowder on the patio to those who attend starting at noon. “We love all our fans and customers that made these past 10 years worth all we’ve put in to it,” the brewery says. “Thank you all for your patronage and support. Cheers to many more years to come!” There will be live music from The Black and Blues Band (12pm – 3pm), Jake Payne Jazz Quartet (3:30pm – 6:30pm) and Vinyl 6 (7pm -10pm). First Line Teams With Brickyard on Veterans Day Lager

First Line Brewing and Brickyard Brewing are giving back to those who made the ultimate sacrifice with the release of 11th Hour Veterans Day Lager, a crisp and easy drinking lager brewed with Yakima Chiefs Veterans hop blend. Proceeds from hops purchased will go directly to the Gary Sinese Foundation, and both breweries will donate 11% of the proceeds to Veterans One Stop Center. 11th Hour is on draft now and cans will be available Nov. 12 at First Line during their Veterans Day party. Raise a Toast to the Retiring Mayor of Buffalo Beer Tim Herzog

‘All good things must come to an end,’ ‘nothing gold can stay,’ no matter what saying you choose, they all apply to the impending retirement of Buffalo’s mustachioed craft beer figurehead, Flying Bison’s Tim Herzog. As he prepares to pour one last pint, you can join him and raise a toast to everything he has done for Western New York craft beer on November 12 at Flying Bison. “Please join us in raising a pint to honor Tim and all he has done not only for the beer community but our community at large,” Flying Bison said. There will be cask and vintage ales, BBQ and live music from The Isotopes at 6pm.

Buffalo Riverworks to Re-Release The Dominator Czech Pils

Buffalo Riverworks is bringing back The Dominator Czech Pilsner, a beer brewed in collaboration with all-time Sabres great Dominik Hasek, on Nov. 9. The beer features a hearty, malty body with a touch of spice and a hoppier, slightly boozier body that it’s previous iteration, while maintaining a smooth and clean finish. The proceeds from this amazing collaboration will go directly to his foundation Hasek’s Heroes. The beer will be available on draft at Riverworks and in 16oz. 4-pack cans to go.

New Fruited Sour Coming to 12 Gates Brewing

On Nov. 11 (12pm), 12 Gates Brewing is debuting their latest fruited sour, Ivan’s Ooze. Bonus points if you recognize the reference. This ooze is a 6% smoothie-style sour packed full of blueberry, blackberry, sweet cherry, raspberry and pomegranate. Ivan’s Ooze will be available on-draft and in 16oz. 4-packs to-go at the brewery. To celebrate the release, there will be free live music from Jess & Mike Duo at 7pm.

Pair Craft Beer & Taylor Swift at The Beer Keep This Weekend

On Nov. 10 (6pm), The Beer Keep and the Buffalo Beer Goddesses are hosting a curated Taylor Swift beer and music pairing event featuring a playlist of Taylor classics and her new album, Midnights, in its entirety. For each Taylor Swift era, you will taste nine ‘taylored’ beer pairings, including Genny Cream Ale, Big Ditch Low Bridge, Eli Fish Ube Bee, Big Alice NYS Pils, Delirium Red, Komes Raspberry Porter, Southern Grist Summer Crisp, Von Trapp Dunkel and Drekker Brewing Sometime Around Midnight. Tickets (available at the door) are $22 and include all 9 beer pairings, tax and gratuity.
