Branded Erie County Fair beer and cider returns as we begin the summer and they will both be available in retail stores beginning this week, thanks to a collaboration between the Erie County Agricultural Society, Try-It Distributing, BlackBird Cider Works and Hamburg Brewing.
The Erie County Fair Summer Cider returns again for the 2023 summer season. The cider, produced by BlackBird Cider Works, celebrates summer with tastes of locally-grown apples and hints of loganberry and tart cherry. Summer Cider will be packaged in a beautifully decorated 12oz. can with iconic scenes of the Fair across the can. The cider will be sold in four packs at Tops Friendly Markets, Consumer’s Beverages and other retail outlets. BlackBird Cider Works has been producing high quality “orchard to glass” cider in Niagara County since 2011. The orchards, production facility, and cider tasting room are located in Barker.
The Erie County Fair Beer brings new flavor to local beer drinkers this summer. Sticky Face, produced by Hamburg Brewing, is a watermelon wheat ale. Made with natural flavors, this new beer brings the flavor of a beloved summer fruit without the seeds. The ale will be packaged in a 12oz. can wrapped with watermelon-themed graphics. Sticky Face will be sold in six packs at Tops Friendly Markets, Consumer’s Beverages and other retail outlets. Opened in October of 2013, Hamburg Brewing Company is a production brewing facility complete with an alluring taproom and patio located in Hamburg.
