Tickets Remain for NYS Craft Brewers Festival Buffalo

A limited amount of tickets still remain for Western New York’s premier summer craft beer festival, New York State Craft Brewers Festival: Buffalo, which returns to Canalside on June 24 (2-6pm). The annual event is produced by the New York State Brewers Association and Western New York Brewers Guild. This year will feature craft beer from more than 50 breweries from every corner of the state, and attendees can meet the people who make the beer they love while enjoying live music, food trucks, vendors, axe throwing & more. 1927 Brew House to Open Brewery, Taproom in Clarence

1927 Brew House, a brewery from Santora’s Pizza located at the Walden Galleria, has announced plans to open a new standalone brewery and taproom in Clarence in the former Old Lamplighter restaurant, located at 6260 Goodrich Road. Tentative plans call for the new space to include a production brewery, barrel room, outdoor beer garden with a self-pour system, ordering via QR codes, tapas-style restaurant with slider plates, appetizers and shareables, and private event space. The new brewery will supply all four Santora’s sites, as well as other select locations. Pending approval, the Clarence location is expected open early next year.

BriarBrothers Brewing to Hold One Year Anniversary Party

BriarBrothers Brewing Company is turning one and are celebrating with an anniversary party on June 24 (12pm). There will be live music from Retro-phonics (3-6pm) and a number of new and returning beers and seltzers, including Skuffin’ Bunks New England IPA, Bubli: Dill Pickle Hard Seltzer and Power Stance Peanut Butter Milk Stout. “It’s been an incredible year where we’ve met so many amazing people and got incredible feedback about our lineup of beer,” the brewery says. “We’re so gracious of the support that our guests have shown us over the last year and we’re looking forward to marking the anniversary and many more!”

Buffalo Beer Geeks Scavenger Hunt Launch Party

On June 29 at Nickel City Brewz, the Buffalo Beer Geeks will hold the official launch party for their summer Scavenger Hunt. The event will feature a triple tap takeover from  Buffalo Brewing, Frequentem and Beer Tree, the Buffalo Beer Goddesses will be on hand, WNY Brews and the Buffalo Beer League will be recording a podcast, Miller and the Other Sinners will performing and food will be available from the Polish Villa II truck. Prize for first place is four tickets to the Bills-Giants October 15 game, and other prizes include a 13 beer punch card from Flying Bison and 10 beer punch card from Mr. Goodbar. 42 North Fans Invited To Submit Photos To Be Featured On Beer Can


Have you even dreamed of being featured on a beer label? 42 North Brewing is giving you that chance. The East Aurora brewery is revamping the can art for their Where Else Would You Rather Beer? Buffalo Bills-themed kolsch and are looking for fans to submit photos of their tailgate for a chance to be featured. 42 North is seeking fan images that celebrate the tradition and camaraderie of the Buffalo tailgate experience. Fans can send images to tailgate@42northbrewing.com by July 7. Where Else Would You Rather Beer? will be available wherever great craft beer is sold by mid-August.

2X Jam at Southern Tier Brewing Buffalo

Southern Tier Brewing Buffalo are dedicating an entire day – June 24 – to their 2X Factor Series – 2XExperimental, 2XHaze, 2XCitrus and 2XIPA – during 2X Jam, an all-day event that both highlights and celebrates the beer series. The brewery will be pouring $5 drafts of their entire 2XSeries all day in their taproom and there will be live music from Two Towns at 1pm followed by SON.
