Pizza Plant Presents Annual Tim’s Beer Show Tasting Event

Buffalo Beer Godfather Tim Herzog is coming out of retirement for one night only on October 18 (7pm), for New York’s longest running beer event, Tim’s Beer Show, at Pizza Plant Transit. The curated tasting experience, hosted by Flying Bison’s Tim Herzog, features Herzog hosting a unique journey through beer, from light to dark to extreme as you sample, discuss and learn about beer.  Tickets are $45 and include a tasting glass to keep, Pizza Plant breadsticks and 12 4oz. beer samples. Clarksburg Cider to Host Cider Fest 2023

Clarksburg Cider will host Cider Fest 2023 on October 14, an afternoon of cider tasting, live music, food and more. Vendors include 21 Brix Winery, Hartman’s Distilling, Hamburg Brewing, K2 Brothers, Leonard Oakes, Lockhouse Distillery, Seed and Stone Cidery + Meadery, Steampunk Cider, Tree Hugger Hard Cider and Woodcock Brothers. General admission (2pm ) features food, lawn games, raffles, live music from Leroy Townes Band, 2 Barn Farm petting zoo, free braids by Buffalo Braidbabes, and more. Celebrate Oktoberfest This Weekend at a Local Brewery

This weekend is a big one for local Oktoberfest celebrations, especially at your local brewery. Catch the Bills – Jags Game From London at These Breweries

As the Buffalo Bills head across the pond to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday, which features a 9:30am kickoff, a number of breweries are opening their doors to the Bills Mafia early. 12 Gates of EVL is opening early for OktoBEERfest, Resurgence Brewing is hosting a UK-themed Kegs & Eggs, New York Beer Project is hosting a British Invasion Watch Party, featuring their British Invasion English Ale, brewed especially for the London game, $3 Gamedays and traditional English breakfast, Brazen Brewing will host a Very Brazen Bills British Invasion, a ticketed event with a breakfast buffet, beer and cocktails. Southern Tier Buffalo will also be opening at 8:30am. As Gov. Kathy Hochul announced a new special permit that would allow businesses to sell beer on Sunday beginning at 8 a.m., stay tuned to your favorite watering holes for event announcements.

Celebrate the Start of Hockey at Hocktoberfest at Pearl Street

Hocktoberfest, October 5 at Pearl Street Brewery, is the official event to celebrate the start of hockey season in Buffalo, an evening of live music, special appearances, and hockey themed activities. The Zambonis and Captain Tom and the Hooligans will perform, Buffalo’s ‘Best Mullet’ contest will take place, and beer will include Southern Tier Harvest IPA, Ellicottville Brewing Pumpkinville, 42 North Fall Bock, Riverworks Brewing Splashing Pumpkins and The Dominator and Pearl Street Oktoberfest. Hocktoberfest kicks off at 4pm.

Hofbrauhaus Buffalo to Release Festbier

Hofbrauhaus will tap their Festbier on October 5 (6pm) with a ceremonial keg tapping parade, led by Buffalo Bandits star Tehoka Nanticoke and live music from Die Haus Band at 6pm. Guests will receive a complimentary 0.3L of Festbier (Stein Club Members receive a complimentary full 1L).
