42 North first opened its doors in October of 2015. Over the past nine years, the brewery has brewed hundreds of beers, welcomed thousands into the taproom, and built relationships in the community that extend far beyond craft beer.

To celebrate its 9th Anniversary, 42 North will release a few special beers, surrounded by live music and camaraderie.

“When we first opened our doors, the vision was to build a brewery that focused on quality, authenticity, and collaboration with the community. We are truly grateful to the Western New York community for supporting this vision. It’s hard to believe it’s been nine years as, in many ways, we still feel like a start-up,” stated John Cimperman, 42 North’s founder.

From October 18-20, the brewery will celebrate at its East Aurora taproom with the following activities:

  • Friday, October 18- 42 North will release three beers beginning at 12 noon. These beers include the spiced amber, winter seasonal, Yodeler Winter Ale, a special Belgian Strong Ale in collaboration with 42 North neighbors, Blue Eyed Baker, and Ninefold Darkness, a 10% ABV Imperial Stout that was aged in American Oak Bourbon barrels.
  • Saturday, October 19 – The ever-popular, Rochester based, Public Water Supply will bring their high-energy Indie/Americana sounds to the taproom stage beginning at 8 pm.
  • Sunday, October 20 – Bills game and food specials from Fat Bob’s Smokehouse, followed by the Old Time String Jam hosted by 42 North’s friends, The Brothers Blue. Bring along your fiddle and join this communal gathering of local musicians.

42 North’s East Aurora taproom is located at 25 Pine Street.
