Wayland Brewing Company has opened a new, seasonal taproom within their sister restaurant, West Rose.
“So many Grange Group customers are big skiers, and spend every weekend in Ellicottville. It just made sense to bring the beer and party there,” says Alex Burtless, marketing director, Wayland Brewing Company. “West Rose is
a great, cozy date spot, and the upstairs lounge is a little more casual than the main dining rooms. We want the whole family to stop in and say hi.”
Wayland will have a rotating beer list on 6 taps, as well as a cooler stocked with beer to go. And, for the first time, build your own six packs.
Sticking with the most popular dish at every Grange Group restaurant, the menu will focus on Wayland’s Detroit-style pizzas, plus featured small plates and kids’ chicken fingers.
The upstairs lounge at West Rose has seen a rotation of themes the past few seasons – most recently a noodle bar and raw bar. New Swiss ski chalet-themed decor and a few added televisions aim to make it an après party spot, and the perfect place to watch Bills games all winter.
With an ever-present focus on community, Wayland Brewing Company has a growing beer portfolio of over 50 styles and iterations, from hoppy IPAs to light and crisp lagers. The venue also recently marked its first anniversary,
while continuing to gain widespread recognition and acclaim across the region’s food, beverage, and tourism scene.
