To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Buffalo’s business start up incubator, 43North, 42 North is brewing a special beer. This beer, Beyond Boundaries, is a West Coast pilsner that infuses a traditional pilsner with west coast hop varietals, Simcoe, Chinook and Tonatiuh.

43North and 42 North Brewing share very similar names. They also share a passion for the Western New York region.

“When 43 North approached us about collaborating on a beer, we thought it was a great idea. We also thought it would be cool to integrate a little west coast into a traditional pilsner. Much like 43North is infusing a little bit of Silicon Valley into Buffalo,” stated 42 North’s Founder John Cimperman.

43North invests $5 million annually into local start-up businesses. The 43North Finals returns to Shea’s for its 10th year on October 10. This ‘shark tank-style event will have businesses battle it out for one of five $1 million awards.

Beyond Boundaries will be available at both 42 North’s East Aurora and downtown Buffalo taprooms, as well as venues in and around Buffalo’s Theatre District, including Electric City, Shea’s, Ballyhoo, Hartman’s Distilling, Ballyhoo, and Frankie Primo’s.
