Want to travel to Prague and watch the Buffalo Sabres take on the New Jersey Devils this October? Happy Sherpa Travel has a package for that.
The trip, September 30 – October 7, is $3,200 (price based on double occupancy, single supplements are available for an additional $600) and features a roundtrip flight from Buffalo to Prague, a six night stay at the Grand Hotel Bohemia (includes daily breakfast), day trips to Pilsner Urquell and Kutna Hora, walking tours of Prague and Kutna Hora, private coach, and meetups with the Czech and Slovak Sabres Fan Club.
Game tickets are an additional $400 per person each game. Tickets are located in the 100 level of the O2 Arena.
The Sabres will take on the New Jersey Devils to begin the 2024-25 regular season by facing off in a pair of games in Prague, Czechia, at O2 Arena, Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5. This will mark the Sabres’ third European trip during the regular season. They played in Helsinki, Finland and Berlin, Germany in 2011 and in Stockholm, Sweden in 2019.
Tentative itinerary for the trip:
- DAY ONE – Monday, September 30 – Catch Delta flight from BUF to PRA via JFK and CDG.
- DAY TWO – Tuesday, October 1 – Arrive PRA at 2:15pm. Private Coach from airport to Grand Bohemian Hotel. Check-in and get settled. Night on own in Prague.
- DAY THREE – Wednesday, October 2 – Breakfast at hotel. 9:30am walking tour of Prague Old Town and Prague Castle. 4:00pm tour and tasting at Strahov Monastery Brewery. Night on own in Prague.
- DAY FOUR – Thursday October 3 – Breakfast at hotel. 9:00am private coach to Pilsen for tour of Pilsner Urquell. Lunch in Pilsen, possible visit to Pivovar Raven. Night on own in Prague.
- DAY FIVE – Friday, October 4 – Breakfast at hotel. Game day. Day on own before pregame with Czech and Slovak Fan Club. 8:00pm Sabres-Devils game.
- DAY SIX – Saturday, October 5 – Breakfast at hotel. Game day 2. Day on own in Prague. Pregame. 8:00pm Sabres-Devils game.
- DAY SEVEN – Sunday, October 6 – Breakfast at hotel. 9:00am private coach to Kutna Hora and famous Bone Ossuary. Brewery visit. 5:30pm return to hotel. Night on own in Prague.
- DAY EIGHT – Monday, October 7 – Breakfast in a box. 6:30am leave hotel for airport. 8:50am departure from Prague. Arrive in Buffalo 7:40pm.
