In partnership with Erie County Parks, the first-ever “Discover Emery Park” event will be hosted on Saturday, August 14. This is one in a series of free events that 42 North Brewing Company has hosted at Erie County Parks this summer.

This day-long event will feature craft beer from 42 North, Texas-style BBQ from Brisket Love and music from The Young Relics. Beginning at 1pm, event attendees will park atop the ski lift lot on Emery Road and walk a quarter mile to find a hidden and historic amphitheater on the grounds of Emery Park. The concert will begin at 2:30 pm.

The 490-acre Emery Park is one of the oldest parks in the Erie County Park system. Acquired in 1925, the park features historic rock gardens, stone bridges, and an amphitheater that had capacity for 600.

42 North Founder, John Cimperman, states, “Emery Park is a jewel in the Erie County Park system. There are so many unique assets to this park and we hope this event will help folks discover the amazing features of Emery Park.”

This event is also part of Erie County bi-centennial celebration. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Erie County Parks for their continued improvement of the park system.
