Located at 1002 Elmwood Ave. in Buffalo’s Elmwood Village, The Beer Keep will play host to one of Toronto’s most popular craft breweries – Bellwoods Brewery – and Buffalo’s own Butter Block for a one-day-only pop-up shop.

Beginning at noon on December 18, the pop-up shop will feature specialty beers from Bellwoods not typically available in the United States. Guests can expect a plethora of Bellwood’s beers on draft and in bottles, from classics and fresh new releases to a number of hard-to-find celler gems, all available to-go.

The event will also feature a baked goods and pastry pop-up by local iconic bakery, Butter Block. Known for their sweet & savory baked goods ranging from caramelized onion and gruyere danishes to house fashioned pop-tarts, Butter Block will be on-site starting at noon with a variety of their goods while supplies last.

“Getting the chance to share a curated selection of Bellwoods beer with our American customers is always rewarding for us, especially in Buffalo where craft beer culture is so revered,” Bellwoods said. “With cross-border events being so rare in the past year and a half, we went all out selecting a stacked lineup of our absolute favorites!”

Having just opened this past fall, The Beer Keep Bar & Shop is the newest addition to Elmwood Village’s booming 1000 block of businesses. Since opening, The Beer Keep has become known for having one of the best beer selections in all of Western New York. The bar & shop is open 7 days a week for guests to enjoy beers on-site or to-go, and serves food starting at noon every day except Mondays.

“We’re thrilled to open our doors to such a prolific brand as Bellwoods ” Beer Keep Director of Operations Cory Muscato said. “Buffalo’s beer community, like all our communities, thrives on exciting partnerships like this giving birth to new experiences for everyone. We hope we can add value to our neighbors and community this holiday season with this fun event.”
