Big Ditch Plans Triple Can Release for Independence Day

In an effort to make sure your coolers are properly stocked for the holiday weekend, Big Ditch Brewing is releasing three beers. Beer That Tastes Like Beer: Hefeweizen, a new series, is a German-style wheat beer with flavors of banana bread, bubblegum and clove ($12.99/4-pack) and Hawaiian Vision, which features notes of pineapple, tart cherry, passion fruit and milk sugar ($19.99/4-pack) will be released, and Citraburner, Big Ditch’s flagship IPA with a barge full of Citra hops, returns ($14.99/4-pack). The beer will be available July 2 (11am).

Community Beer Works’ Singularity Series Returns

CBW’s long running single hop IPA series is returning this weekend with Singularity: Amarillo, which will be released on draft and in cans on July 2 (3pm). Singularity: Amarillo is filled with intense sweet citrus aroma and flavor, full of lemon, orange, and grapefruit notes. Cans are available for presale at communitybeerworks.com/deliveries.

12 Gates Brewing Brings Back Lemon Lime Sour

First released as Super Spectacular Sour #2 last summer, Lip Smack Lemon Lime Sour is 4.5% and refreshing with tart notes of lemon and lime. It’s easy drinking and smooth, making it a perfect beer for your summer. It will be available at 4pm on June 30 in cans and on draft at the taproom and wherever great beer is sold after that.

42 North to Release Sipstream, Official Beer of Empire State Ride

42 North Brewing will release Sipstream Empire State Pale Ale on July 3, the official beer of the Empire State Ride, where 300 cyclists will journey from New York City to Niagara Falls in an effort to fight cancer. The beer features Excelsior, Cascade and Centennial hops for notes of tropical fruit, citrus, melon and light pine. Proceeds of every case sold will be donated to the Empire State Ride and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Sipstream will also be available wherever great beer is sold.

New York Beer Project Planning Orchard Park Location

New York Beer Project, who currently has locations in Lockport and Victor with another in planning Winter Park, Florida, has revealed plans to open a Southtowns location at Sterling Business Park on a nine-acre wooded parcel off Windward Road off Route 219. Plans call for the location to open sometime in 2023.

Tickets on Sale Now for Buffalo on Tap

Tickets are on sale for Buffalo on Tap Craft Beer Festival, which will take place at the Hamburg Fairgrounds on July 24. Tickets are $45 and include three hours of sampling, live music and a souvenir glass, with two sessions available, 12 – 3pm and 4:30 – 7:30pm.
