Community Beer Works believes in working with friends and neighbors to make positive changes both in and beyond the communities that we all call home. With that ethos in mind, their Good Neighbor program is now being used to support a local organization that has touched the lives of countless people in WNY, and beyond – Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Throughout the months of May and June, $1 from every six-pack of Good Neighbor IPA sold will be donated to Roswell Park through the Ride for Roswell. Additionally, their distribution partners at Try-It Distributing are adding a 100% match to donations made through sales of Good Neighbor IPA in stores. And now, in partnership with Tops Friendly Markets, they’re extending the Good Neighbor program through the end of July, with an additional $1 per six-pack being donated by Tops when Good Neighbor IPA is purchased at all Tops locations from June 20 through July 31.

To date, the Good Neighbor program has raised $6,440 for the Ride for Roswell and Roswell Park, thanks to a community that loves great beer, and partners like Tops and Try-It Distributing.

“The amazing team at Roswell Park has provided world-class care to so many of our family, friends, and neighbors throughout Western New York. The Ride for Roswell brings our community together, and along with our friends and partners at Tops Markets, we’re honored to support the efforts of the doctors, researchers, nurses and staff who fight cancer every day,” said Chris Smith, co-founder of Community Beer Works.

As an extra way to give back to the community that supports this project, the brewery is launching a giveaway campaign with Tops, offering a total of 73 prizes like beer samplings and dinner pairings, brewery tours, gift cards to CBW and even an opportunity to be brewer for a day. Tops shoppers can find displays of Good Neighbor IPA with QR codes to enter the contest at all participating Tops locations.
