Southern Tier Brewing Company is partnering with FeedMore WNY to help combat food insecurity in Western N.Y.

They wants to give back to the region that has given it so much by launching its “Rooted in WNY” campaign in partnership with FeedMore WNY. In this year-round program, Southern Tier will help FeedMore WNY in multiple meaningful ways, aiming to raise $20,000.

Southern Tier will be partnering with FeedMore WNY for their “Party at the Pier” fundraiser, as well as donating forty donation bins for FeedMore WNY’s November food drive. Southern Tier’s fans will see communication in-store and online, encouraging them to participate with us in supporting this worthy cause through donations, with consumers being awarded with monthly prizes. They can also stop into STBC’s Buffalo taproom on Saturdays in November, where a portion of profits from all IPA sold will be donated to FeedMore WNY. This partnership will help FeedMore WNY continue its mission of offering dignity, hope and brighter futures to Western New York neighbors in need by providing nutritious food, friendship, and skills training.

Along with the kick-off to this amazing partnership, Southern Tier is releasing a new look for its beloved and timeless IPA. Like this campaign, IPA is rooted in WNY with its launch 20 years ago. The new look celebrates Southern Tier’s brewery by showcasing it front and center on all packaging. Although the packaging has been refreshed, the liquid that consumers have loved for the last 20 years remains the same.

“Southern Tier is thrilled to partner with FeedMore WNY to help our neighbors in need. No one should worry about where their next meal is coming from, and we must support those in our community facing hunger whenever possible. Through this partnership with FeedMore WNY, Southern Tier knows that we can make an immediate impact. We aim to continue and grow this partnership for many years to come,” says Brandon Hank, Southern Tier’s brand manager.

“FeedMore WNY is grateful for the partnership Southern Tier Brewing Company. FeedMore WNY works to alleviate food insecurity 365 days a year, so it is incredible that Southern Tier is providing these opportunities to assist our community members experiencing food insecurity throughout the year. We are excited to work together to help spread awareness of our mission and nourish our neighbors in need,” Cait Evans, donor engagement director for FeedMore WNY, said.
