Today, New York Beer Project owners Kelly and Kevin Krupski presented Oishei Children’s Hospital with their second $10,000 donation in two years, bringing the grand total to $20,000 donated to this wonderful foundation. This donation was raised through NYBP’s collaborative “Mash-Up” series with Perry’s Ice Cream, where New York Beer Project brews unique beers inspired by Perry’s iconic ice cream flavors.
This partnership began May 29, 2017 with the creation of Panda Paws Porter. New York Beer Project’s objective was to give back to the community and let Craft beer drinkers make a difference by donating $1 for each pint sold at NYBP’s original Lockport location to Oishei Children’s Hospital. The original goal of raising $10,000 by Memorial Day 2018 was celebrated in March of 2018.
Fast forward two years, and the $20,000 goal, also achieved earlier than expected, came through sales of many delicious craft ales and lagers brewed to imitate the flavors found in Perry’s ice creams, such as White Christmas Belgian Blonde Ale and Superhero Sour, which was brewed in honor of all the Superheroes at Oishei Children’s Hospital.
New York Beer Project is truly honored to help out such a truly wonderful organization, and thanks all the NYBP patrons who, pint by pint, helped them reach their goal and ultimately make a difference in the community.
