Gearing up for summer adult recreational leagues? Labatt is here to help teams knock this season out of the park. Labatt USA is eager to bring its brand-new Parks and Rec program to Buffalo, New York this spring. The Labatt Parks and Rec program will offer sponsorships for adult recreational teams, as well as grants for the places people come together – community parks.  Labatt will also host volunteer events to keep parks clean and in repair.

“After a long winter, we want to promote people getting out with their friends and playing the sports that they love,” said Inga Grote-Ebbs, brand director for Labatt USA. “We’re going to help by sprucing up parks, investing in upkeep and repairs and sponsoring teams to take the field!”

Interested adult recreational teams are encouraged to apply for a Labatt sponsorship now through May 31 at https://parksandrec.labattusa.com/. Selected teams will be awarded $500 to use toward league dues or any other team needs as well as limited edition Labatt Parks and Rec branded merchandise. The Labatt Parks and Rec website will showcase the teams, volunteer work and community investment in Buffalo.

About Labatt Parks and Rec Grant Program

In addition to adult recreation leagues, Labatt will invest in and revitalize the parks where people gather, celebrate, and most of all, play! Labatt is awarding grants to Buffalo community parks and urban spaces to assist with revitalization needs. If awarded a Labatt grant, Labatt will organize volunteer opportunities for select green-space revitalization projects. Today, Labatt awarded a Parks and Rec grant to Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservatory and helped prep and restore a baseball diamond at Cazenovia Park, along with other revitalization tasks.
