Pan-American Grill & Brewery Celebrates 5^th Anniversary

Come down to the historic Hotel Lafayette and help Pan-American Grill and Brewery celebrate their fifth anniversary on June 16 (4-8pm). Pan-Am will not only be launching their new and improved menu with free samples of new dishes available during the party, their best-selling seasonal beer Cheaters IPA (7%), which is brewed with Amarillo, Citra, and Mosaic hops, will return to their taps. Melon, citrus, and mango are just a few of the tropical flavors you taste while drinking it, all balanced by mild malt sweetness. A special cask will also be tapped in honor of the brewery turning 5.

Bring Dad to New York Beer Project for Father’s Day

If you’re looking for the perfect gift for dad for Father’s Day, why not get him something he’ll love – beer. Head out to New York Beer Project on June 18 for a Father’s Day celebration that includes live music and a new beer release. Brunch will be served from 10am-2pm. NYBP will release I’ll Hefe Nother Hefeweizen and grilled clams will be served at 1pm. For live music, Zac Ward plays from 1-4pm and the River Dogs Blues Band takes the stage from 5-9pm. All dad’s get their first beer FREE with the purchase of an entree, all day long!

Thin Man to take over Elmwood for Summer Solstice

In honor of their one-year anniversary, Thin Man Brewery is closing down Elmwood Avenue, literally, for the first annual Summer Solstice Street Festival on June 17 (12-10pm), a full day of live music, beer and food. There will be a pig roast, seafood boil, Allen Burger Venture burgers and more for those looking to eat and both bars inside will be open for full beer, wine, and cocktail service. Also, a beer truck will be outside for quick access. Aircraft, Uncle Ben’s Remedy and Ten Cent Howl, among others, will take to the stage to perform. Buy tickets at www.eventbrite.com.

Join MyCity Brew’s official tasting panel

From June 14-20, MyCity Brew is giving away 25 taste testing roles for their final selection event, and to enter all you have to do is like their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/mycitybrew).  MCB will randomly select 25 people to be an official taste tester in their final selection event. If you already like their Facebook page, a post will be pinned to the top of their page that people can share to be entered to win as well. Winners will be announced on June 21. Earlier this year, MyCity Brew settled on Dunkel (Dark Lager) after tabulating all of the votes.
