Beer Justice Brewing Co. Set to Open First Ever Brewery in Arcade 

As craft beer drinkers look to quench their insatiable thirst, breweries continue to pop-up in every corner of Western New York, including Arcade, where Beer Justice Brewing Co. will open the first ever brewery in town at 3 Hurdville Rd. On August 3, the fledgling brewery will hold their grand opening, including a ribbon cutting at 4pm. Their launch beers include Blonde Moment (Blonde Ale), Catt Creek Cream Ale, Nu Moon (Wheat ale), Strawberry Blonde (Fruited Blonde ale), Sentencing Day IPA (West Coast IPA), Hearsay Hazy IPA (New England IPA), A&A Amber Ale, Sanctioned Oatmeal Stout, Sidebar Stout (Hazelnut praline stout), Let’s Gose Buffalo (Raspberry and blueberry sour), Hottie Gose Round (Jalapeno sour) and Sua Sponte Seltzer (various flavors). Clarksburg Cider Celebrates First Anniversary

Lancaster’s Clarksburg Cider is turning one and they are celebrating the only way they know how – a party full of food and cider. On August 3 (4pm), Clarksburg will be holding a ticketed event; a $40 pre-sale ticket includes dinner and two 13 oz. ciders and a $50 pre-sale ticket includes a commemorative T-shirt, dinner and two 13 oz. ciders, while all tickets include lawn games and live music by The Hot Club of Buffalo. Minkey Boodle, Buffalo’s Favorite Sour, Get Its Own Day

All of Buffalo is invited to join Thin Man Brewery in celebrating Minkey Boodle on July 30 for Minkey Day at Thin Man Elmwood (12pm). Expect lots of OG Minkey Boodle, 3 special collaborations with Bellwoods Brewery (Boodle Berry Pie – Raspberry, blueberry sour with vanilla and pie crust), Other Half (Oodles of Boodles – Raspberry sour with ice cream and toasted granola) and Prairie Artisan Ales (Minkey Stardust – Raspberry sour with pink Starbursts), Minkey-inspired atmosphere, glassware, merch and food. Buffalo Brewing to Celebrate 6th Anniversary

After two years, Buffalo Brewing Company is bringing the party back for their sixth anniversary on July 30. The party will feature special beers from the vault, including 2017 1813 Imperial Porter and 2018 1977 Barleywine on draft for the first time, three new beers, including a new New England IPA, Manro Ale and British Bitter, an old fashioned cookout, live music from Carina & the Six String Preacher (5-8p) and the return of the raffle. Community Beer Works to Release Bomb Pop Sour, Double IPA

On July 29 (3pm), Community Beer Works will release Bomb Pop Sour, a new fruited sour brewed with cherry, lime and raspberry. “The marriage of sweet and tart flavors makes for a perfect treat while you sit and wish this warm weather would last all year long,” CBW said of the beer. Then, on August 5, Pop Culture Reference Double IPA makes its return. This beer features notes of mango, grapefruit, and peach with a clean finish. Both beers will be released on draft at the taproom and in 16 4-pack cans to go.

Windy Brew to Release West Coast Pilsner for Pertnear Beer Day

Windy Brew is tapping a special beer in honor of the third annual Pertnear Beer Day on July 31 (12pm), a fundraiser for the Venison Donation Coalition, National Deer Association and local food bank. After releasing a Double IPA and an IPA in previous years, Windy Brew will tap a 4.5% West Coast Pilsner. There will also be raffles, tastings from Ellicottville Distillery and live music. The VDC allows hunters to donate back to the Western New York Food Bank and the NDA provides education and conservation programs to the public.
