While it has only been three months since Resurgence Brewing last expanded their big board for their recurring Kegs & Eggs event, it certainly has been a long three months. The next such installment of the experimental beer series will take place on Sunday, May 7 at 11am (until 5pm or the kegs runs dry).
Unlike February’s installment of Kegs & Eggs, in which Resurgence’s bar, kitchen and brew staffs teamed up and squared off against each other to create their own beer, May’s version returns the event to its roots as a sheer showcase for experimentation in the brewing process.
Breakfast will be served at the brewery, who will be handling the food preparation in-house this time around, while you sip on one or six of the experimental brews that the brewery will be rolling out for the event, which includes a Centennial IPA, Banana Stout, Sour Weisse, Passion Fruit Kolsch, Milkshake Lactose IPA, Pineapple IPA, Rye Dunkel Weissen and Mimosa Bar Orange Hefeweizen. Additionally, two mystery casks will be tapped for the event.
A fresh breakfast burrito and a few flights certainly sound in order.
