Iron Island Brewery, a project helmed by property management firm called Carousel Development Corp. and TRM Architecture, is looking to open a new brewery and taproom at 1223 Lovejoy St.
According to an application filed with the city’s Zoning Board of Appeals, tentative plans call for a tasting area, upper and lower seating sections with an open brewhouse floor plan, and an outdoor patio abutting the brewery building.
Additionally, according to the application on file, the company wants to create a “premier beer production and tasting destination in the region and one of the few on the city’s East Side.”
The application us under consideration with the Zoning Board of Appeals.
