Buffalo Olde Brewery, located at the intersection of East Lovejoy Street and North Ogden Street in Buffalo’s Lovejoy District, has announced the launch of its Pedal Bike Tour. Buffalo Mayor Christopher P. Scanlon and Common Council President Bryan J. Bollman, who represents the Lovejoy District, were on hand at the brewery to celebrate the launch of the fun, new initiative.
“The Lovejoy Pedal Bike Ride Tour is more than just a new addition—it brings new life to the East Lovejoy corridor, drives traffic to local businesses, and gives residents and visitors alike a chance to experience the history, pride, and community spirit that define this neighborhood,” Mayor Scanlon said. “It’s a great example of how creative ideas can help our neighborhoods thrive.”
“I’m thrilled to see a pedal bike tour rolling through the Lovejoy District,” Council President Bollman added. “Thank you to Buffalo Olde Brewery for introducing such a fun and unique activity to our business corridor.”
The bike tour strengthens Buffalo Olde’s commitment to the Lovejoy community. The brewery was the site of The Olde Theater Building, a Lovejoy favorite in the early 1900s, and the Propis Grill, a speakeasy that was popular during the Prohibition era. The front bar’s ceiling and flooring are original to the Propis Grill, preserving another aspect of the Lovejoy community’s history.
“The addition of the pedal bike tour adds to the unique experience we are bringing to Buffalo and surrounding communities,” stated Buffalo Olde Brewery, co-owner Bill Anderson. “We’re proud to be in Lovejoy and proud to be a Buffalo business. This is an opportunity for patrons to start enjoying the warm weather and for us to showcase the welcoming Lovejoy neighborhood that has embraced Buffalo Olde Brewery as one of their own.”
Pedal bike tours will be available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Customers can reserve pedal bike tours for up to 13 people. The two-hour excursion allows groups to cruise through the Lovejoy neighborhood and surrounding area, all while enjoying some of Buffalo Olde Brewery’s in-house beverages and cocktails.
In addition to the pedal bike tours, Buffalo Olde Brewery recently announced an exciting lineup of live entertainment for its large outdoor patio. A variety of popular local and regional acts are scheduled to perform at the brewery every Thursday and Saturday through the end of May, with more performances set to be announced in the coming weeks.
“Nothing beats a summer night in Buffalo listening to live music with your friends,” said Anderson. “We’re excited for the upcoming season and to bring people together to create some memories.”
