A number of Buffalo-area breweries and cideries are set to invade the Flour City Brewers Fest in Rochester, including 42 North, Big Ditch, Community Beer Works, Hamburg Brewing, Pressure Drop, Rusty Nickel, Belt Line, Southern Tier, Eli Fish, Thin Man, BlackBird Cider Works and Clarksburg Cider. The event, hosted by Rohrbach Brewing Company, takes place Friday, August 19 at the Rochester Public Market.

The festival will feature over 80 breweries, wineries, cideries and distilleries. There will also be food from a dozen vendors, including The Meatball Truck, Wraps on Wheels, Waffles R Wild, Rolln’ Deep Roc Asian Fusion, Petit Poutinerie, Pop Up & Eats, Tony’s Tuscan Wood-Fired Pizza, Juan & Maria’s Empanadas and Tom Wahl’s, live music from Junkyard Fieldtrip and more.

Among the breweries set to attend the fest are Brewery Ardennes, Big Alice Brewing, Brindlehaus, Prison City, Fifth Frame, Other Half, Genesee Brewhouse, Mortalis, Abandon Brewing, Rising Storm, Stoneyard, Swiftwater and Triphammer. There will also be cider, spirits and wine available as well.

A limited amount of general admission ($45) tickets are still available at www.flourcitybrewersfest.com and include access to sampling, 6oz. glass and a $5 food voucher good for any food vendor. Tickets go up to $50 the day of. Designated Drivers tickets are also available for $10.
