In an effort to help you better plan your drinking itinerary for the fast approaching Buffalo Brewers Festival, we will be featuring select beers in our Tap Spotlight series leading up to the marquee summer event. Because, let’s face it, there’s going to be a more than a few beers on tap, so we want to make sure you know what ones to target early.
Riverworks Brewing Company, one of Buffalo’s newest attractions that recently opened inside of the old grain silos at Buffalo Riverworks, are bringing two beers to the festival that you are not going to want to miss – Conveyor Cream Ale and Rejuvenator New England-style IPA.
There might not be a better option for a first beer at the festival than Riverworks’ Conveyor Cream Ale. It’s light and crisp and gets back to RBC’s roots of being a grain elevator by adding corn in addition to the barley in the grain bill. Imported German hops keep the flavor balanced and smooth.
After that, try the Rejuvenator NEIPA. “It’s called such because of our project rejuvenating a part of Buffalo’s history,” Riverworks head brewers Chris Herr says. “The grain elevator was invented in Buffalo, and we are the only brewery built in to a grain silo in the world. Our IPA is a New England style, which means it’s very aromatic and juicy without being too bitter.”
Pearl Street’s Trainwreck Amber Ale and Pan-American Brewery’s Rough Rider Robust Porter will also be poured as part of the Pearl Street family of beers at the festival.
