Pressure Drop Brings the Haze with Sticky Icky
If you’re looking for hops, they are coming this week at Pressure Drop Brewing. Not only are they releasing a super fresh batch of their beloved flagship Sticky Trees IPA (canned this week), they are also debuting Sticky Icky IPA, a hazy version of Sticky. Mosaic hops shine; it’s skunky, sticky, and dank with tropical undertones. Cans of each are available for pre-order right now at their online store. 4-packs are $15 each. Once you pre-order, you can pick up your order between 12pm-5pm on May 16 on their loading dock, located behind the Barrel Factory at 65 Vandalia Street.
Big Ditch Brewing to Celebrate Fifth Anniversary with New Beers

Community Beer Works to Release New Passion Fruit IPA
The shutdown certainly hasn’t slowed the beer releases down at Community Beer Works, who will release That Passion Fruit IPA on May 15 (3pm). That Passion Fruit IPA is a fruited version of CBWs That IPA, this time fermented with passion fruit. It’s subtly sweet with tart tropical fruit and That IPAs hop blend. Resurgence Brewing Continues Social Distancing Series with Quarantine Heartthrob
This weekend, on May 16 (10am), Resurgence Brewing will release the fourth beer in their Social Distancing IPA Series, Quarantine Heartthrob. This hazy New England is exploding with hoppiness and is brewed with Amarillio, Mosaic, Citra, Vic Secret, Palisade and Rakau hops for tropical notes of papaya, mango, citrus zest and ripe berries. A nice creamy body is complimented with a bubbly and drier finish. The artwork was designed by local artisan Craig Cheape, whose art you can find on most Pressure Drop Brewing cans. You can pre-order Quarantine Heartthrob now on HopMule for Saturday pickup on HopMule.
Share a Virtual Toast on 5/20 at 5:20 with Five and 20 (Spirits and Brewing)
If you didn’t know, we are smack dab in the middle of May 2020, aka Five and 20 Month, for the first and (probably) last time in our lifetimes, so we should all raise a toast to the brewery of the same name – Five and 20 Spirits and Brewing. On May 20, at exactly 5:20pm, you can do just that – join the brewery in a Virtual Toast on their Facebook Live. The brewery will also release a pair of seasonals later this month, Golden Loop IPA and Lim Wit Radler. Both will be available in the coming weeks.
