Resurgence Brewing Brings Back Kegs & Eggs for the Fall
Resurgence’s trademark event, Kegs & Eggs, is returning for a fall edition on October 18 at their Chicago Street locale. Let’s get right to it – experimental beers include Cookies and Cream White Stout (includes lactose), Biscotti Imperial Stout, Peanut Butter / Sponge Candy Swirl, Ambrosia Salad Sour, Oktoberfest Caramel Apple, Juice in the Trunk New England IPA, Candy Dish Sour and Black Lager with Pumpkin Spice Coffee, along with casks of Pink Lemonade Arnold Palmer Sour and Imperial Sponge Stout aged on Heath Crunch. There will also be cans of Arnold Palmer Sour and Juice in the Trunk available for sale.
Thin Man Announces Handful of New Releases
Thin Man has announced a number of releases this week, including Ask the Sky, a dry hopped sour, Atomium Belgian Style Pale Ale, and Blanket the Seasons Blueberry Peach Sour Ale, as well as the Galaxy DDH Bliss DDH DIPA. Ask the Sky was matured in stainless steel for six months with three varieties of southern hemisphere hops to create notes of berry, lemon, tropical fruit, sweet clover and lime. All four beers will be available October 9 at all Thin Man locations (Elmwood – 3pm, Chandler – 4pm, Transit – 5pm).
Community Beer Works to Release Gose With Yuzu Fruit
The Gose With… sour series at Community Beer Works continues with Gose With Yuzu Fruit, which will be released on October 9 (3pm). Brewed with Japanese yuzu fruit, coriander, sea salt, and lactose, this fruited gose is refreshingly tart with an abundance of citrus zest. Preorder yours at communitybeerworks.com/deliveries. Pressure Drop Releases Space Monkey Episode 5 IIPA, Dank Sinatra IPA
Pressure Drop has released the fifth iteration of their Space Monkey IPA series, Episode 5: Space Monkey Strikes Back, in cans and on draft. Episode 5 is an East Coast-meets-West Coast 9.5% Imperial IPA with Simcoe and Mosaic hops, which features notes of dank hops, peach, mango, and overripe stone and tropical fruit. It’s on draft at the brewery and in cans wherever great beer is sold. Pressure Drop has also brought back Dank Sinatra, an IPA brewed with Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic and Azacca hops. New York Beer Project Drops Cinnabon Cream Ale
A new cream ale has hit the taps at New York Beer Project, Cinnabon Cream Ale, which features aromas and flavors of a giant cinnamon roll. This beer was brewed with 10 lbs. of cinnamon, and then aged on more cinnamon and Tahitian vanilla beans for flavors of cinnamon and sweet vanilla icing, to go with a bready finish reminiscent of the iconic pastry. Available on draft and for crowler and growler fills to-go.
