Thin Man to Release New Gose, Porter in Cans

Thin Man Brewery’s canned lineup is set to grow by two with the addition of Glow Worm Blackberry / Guava Gose and Ookla the Mok Baltic Porter, both of which will be released at the brewery on January 12 (11am). Glow Worm is a 4.4% gose brewed with guava and blackberry. It’s tart but not overly sour, yet sessionable and bursting with fruit. On the other side of the coin, Ookla the Mok Baltic Porter presents notes of crisp cocoa, chocolate and dark molasses that swirls around in this strong dark lager. Both will be released in 4-pack 16oz. cans.

Landing Strip is brewed with German 2 Row, White Wheat, Carapils, Crystal 20 and Dextrose malts and Columbus, Citra and Mosaic hops. It’s then dry-hopped with Mosaic and Simcoe to create a softly bittered tropical IPA with loads of pineapple and tangerine and a touch of pine.

Four Mile Brewing to Tap New Double IPA

Four Mile Brewing are upping the hop quotient at their Olean taproom with the release of their latest hoppy creation, Allegewi Double IPA. This true West Coast-style Double IPA offers notes of passionfruit, pear, citrus, and pine. “Legends roam the mountains and banks of the Allegheny. The Allegewi stood tall, strong, and proud. One must respect the living examples of the ferocity of man and nature,” the brewery says of the new brew. Allegewi Double IPA is currently available on draft only at the brewery as of right now, but tentative plans call for it to be canned this fall.
