Southern Tier to Release Perfect Beer for the Summer Months

Just in time for warmer weather, Southern Tier Brewing will release Nice Slice, a watermelon session ale. Nice Slice balances big watermelon flavor with drinkability, resulting in an easy drinking beer with a splash of summery melon. 42 North Teams With Beer Tree on West Gose East Fruited Sour

42 North Brewing has teamed up with Port Crane’s Beer Tree Beer Co. on West Gose East, a rum runner cocktail-inspired fruited sour, that was brewed to celebrate their distribution expansion into Central New York and the Greater Rochester Area. West Gose East will be released April 10 (12pm). This fruited gose is packed with pineapple, blackberry, banana, coconut, tangerine, key lime, blood orange, cara cara orange, and lactose. Erie County Fair Homebrew Competition Open for 2021

The Erie County Fair Homebrew Competition is back on 2021 and the winner will have their beer or cider brewed at Flying Bison Brewing or BlackBird Cider Works. You have until April 30 to enter your homebrew for a chance to win. Entry fee is $15 (includes a ticket to the fair) and judging will take place on May 16 at Flying Bison. Fattey Beer Co. to Expand to Ellicottville, North Tonawanda

Fattey Beer Co., a bottle shop with locations in Hamburg, Buffalo and Orchard Park, have announced plans to open two additional locations in the Wurlitzer Building in North Tonawanda, and at the former Groove Fitness in Ellicottville (6696 Rte. 219). The NT location will be similar to the OP location with seating for roughly 48 inside and 48 outside, and Ellicottville will feature a fire pit, outdoor seating and outdoor games in warmer months and potentially a curling rink during the winter. They will also be able to host private events. Both locations are set to open this summer.

Pressure Drop to Hold Special Sour Beer Sale
