Brickyard’s Fourth Annual 1812 Night to Be Held Virtually

Brickyard’s Fourth Annual 1812 Night, which takes place on March 26, will be held virtually. For $30, you’ll receive a 4-pack of Cunning Use of Flags English IPA and a bottle of Bayonet the Whole Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine, as well as access to a Zoom seminar on the role of Old Fort Niagara in the War of 1812, and the beer it has inspired. A demonstration of traditional Native American music will be performed by Jordan Smith. Proceeds from sales will be donated to the Old Fort Niagara Association. There will be a 100 person limit. CBW to Donate Sales From Good Neighbor IPA to Boys & Girls Club

Community Beer Works are donating $1 from each sale of six packs of their Good Neighbor IPA throughout March and April to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northtowns. Good Neighbor IPA features notes of soft tropical fruit, fleshy pineapple, and orange notes with a balanced hop bitterness. Grange Community Kitchen Team Plan Orchard Park Brewery

The team behind the Grange Community Kitchen in the Village of Hamburg has announced plans to bring a brewery/restaurant to the former American Legion Post 567/VFW Post 6247 at 3740 N. Buffalo St. in Orchard Park. The space features nearly 17,000 square feet, and will have seating for approximately 125 guests, an event hall, and shaded courtyard with fire pits. Owners say they plan to maintain community traditions like bocce tournaments and weekly bingo. Former Thin Man brewer P.J. Dunn is also part of the project. They hope to be open before the end of the year.

West Shore Brewing Welcomes Spring With 2 New Releases

West Shore are welcoming the warmer weather with a pair of new beers, Dynamic Breaks New England IPA, brewed with malted and flaked oats and Motueka, Cashmere and Cascade hops for notes of tropical citrus, lime, and herbal hints of black peppercorn, and Carrying Green Gose, a 4.2% sour ale with ginger and green tea. Both will be available at the brewery on March 27 (11am).

Triple Can Release Coming to Big Ditch Brewing

This weekend, Big Ditch Brewing is debuting Clearly Confused Blonde Stout and Black Light German-style Black Lager (a rebranded version of Fall Black) in cans, and bringing back Shipshape Pilsner. Clearly Confused is rich and roasty with lactose, coffee, hazelnut, and cocoa nibs ($14.99), and Black Light features a subtle roast character, smooth bready malts, and slightly spicy hops ($12.99).
