Woodcock Resurrects Fan Favorite Version of XPA

Woodcock Brothers is bringing back one of their most beloved beers – XPA 6 – as XPA 6.1 on July 29. This version features the same hops and malt as the original, only Woodcock added an extra kettle hop, extra dry hop and about 1lb-per-barrel more hops than the original version. Cans go on sale at noon (limit 1 case per person (subject to change)), with live music from Jamie Holka and beer on the patio. There will also be a cask of XPA 6.1 with pineapple puree and XPA merchandise for sale. XPA 6.1 will only be available at the brewery.

Unique Tour Follows Lifecycle of Locally Sourced Beer

Cornell University Cooperative Extension is hosting the second New York Field to Pint Craft Brewery Tour, August 4, 10am-4pm, which follows the creation of your beer from grain to glass. Visit fields of malting barley (Cornell malting barley fields), witness craft malt houses (NY Craft Malt), see hop bines up close, and savor the final product (Dublin Corners Hop Yard & Farm Brewery). Steve Miller (CCE Hop Specialist), Mike Stanyard (CCE Field Crop Specialist) and Aaron MacLeod, (Director, Hartwick College Center for Craft Food and Beverage) will be on hand. Buffalo Brewing Company Celebrates One Year in Business

Buffalo Brewing Company is turning one year old and need you to help celebrate. Starting at noon on July 29, there will be giveaways – 1pm – magnet, 2pm – pint glass, 3pm – empty growler, 4pm – beer cap sign, 5pm – t-shirt, 6pm – hoodie, 7pm – crowler a month for a year, 8pm – growler a month for a year (plus free growler). BBC will have 1901 IPA aged six weeks in Buffalo Distilling bourbon barrels, 2017 Celebration Pale Ale and one surprise beer. R&R BBQ Food Truck and Carnivorous Food Truck will also be on hand.

Resurgence Brewing Goes Experimental at Kegs & Eggs

Taste the Rainbrau, Jellybean IPA, S’mores Porter, Lemon IPA – you know the beers, now try them. Resurgence Brewing are back this month with Kegs & Eggs on July 30, 11am-7pm. Breakfast will be served at the brewery by Lomo Lomo Food Truck, who were just named Best Food Truck at Buffalo Spree’s The Best Of WNY 2017 Awards, while you enjoy flight after flight off the chalkboard of experimental brews the brewery will be rolling out for the event.
