Big Ditch has also announced a new Summer Inflation Buster Menu, which features daily specials in the taproom to “provide Buffalo with a place to get quality beer, food, service in a comfortable environment, but also at a relatively affordable price.”

From wings and pizzas, burgers and sandwiches to pints and mimosas, Big Ditch’s new Summer Inflation Menu features something for all tastes, each and every day of the week. So if you’re looking for a meal, lighter fare or something of the liquid variety, chances are you’ll find something to satiate your appetite here:

  • Monday – $0.75 wings (3pm to close)
  • Tuesday – $10 all pizzas (3pm to close)
  • Wednesday – $12 all burgers (3pm to close)
  • Thursday – $5 draft beers/ciders, $10 shareable plates (3pm-6pm)
  • Monday – Friday – $10 1/2 Sandwich and Salad (Turkey Wrap or Shrimp Po Boy + side salad) (11am – 3pm)
  • Sunday – $5 Mimosas (10am – 2pm)

Big Ditch President Matt Kahn says that this new menu is a way for the brewery to say thanks and give back to their customers who have supported them throughout the years.

“After a record sales year for our tap room in 2023, and for the first time in our taproom’s nearly 10-year history (aside from 2020), we saw declined traffic and sales in the first half of 2024,” Kahn said. “After a lengthy investigation, including discussions with both customers and staff, we believe this has more to do with macroeconomic factors outside of our control – inflation and available discretionary spending income – than anything we were doing. Our customers have always been so supportive and loyal to us; we thought we owed it to them to provide a few days of the week where they could still come in and get a beer or a meal without breaking their wallet.”

In regards to how long this inflation buster menu will be available, Kahn says he can’t really say. While it may have the word summer in its name, there is a good chance it will extend beyond the warmer weather months in Western New York.

“It’s still a little too early to say, but our customers have been letting us know that they are super appreciative and guest traffic appears to be up,” he said. “The ‘Inflation Buster’ menu we created was intended to run just for this summer, but based on how the rest of the summer goes, we may decide to let it go a little longer than that.”
