The dog days of summer are almost here and one local brewery is ready to let the cat out of the bag. Resurgence Brewing Company is searching for Buffalo’s Top Dog & Coolest Cat to be the faces of their new summer brew!
One dog and one cat will win the opportunity to be featured on Resurgence’s new summer brew can and be named Buffalo’s Top Dog & Coolest Cat by entering the “Resurgence to the Rescue” photo contest. All proceeds from the contest will benefit the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter pets and Ten Lives Club rescue cats. The winners of the photo contest will then be invited to the “Resurgence to the Rescue” pet-friendly party on August 1 to celebrate the special can release and raise crucial funds for homeless animals.
“We are extremely proud and excited to help the homeless dogs and cats at the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter and Ten Lives Club. Some of the most memorable events we’ve hosted have been centered around our four-legged friends and we can’t wait to get started on this partnership,” Resurgence Brewing President Jeff Ware said.
The public can enter their pets from now until Friday, June 18 at 9 p.m. There is no cost to enter your pet. Each vote is $1 of which will go directly to the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter and Ten Lives Club. The dog and cat with the most votes at the end of the contest will be named the winners. Please enter only one pet at a time.
One dog with the most votes will be named Buffalo’s Top Dog and one cat with the most votes will be named Buffalo’s Coolest Cat and be featured on a Resurgence beer can. The two winners will receive a complimentary photo shoot with Tailor Mayde Photography. Winners must be able to travel with pet to photographer’s studio during a set date and time to be named the winner and winners will be invited to a special “Resurgence to the Rescue” event on Sunday, August 1 where they will be celebrated and the special can will be released.
Runner up prizes include gift certificates to Resurgence and Clyde’s Feed & Animal Center.
