The Sunset at the Stables concert series will return to Knox Farms State Park for its fifth season beginning Friday, July 11 with some of the region’s most popular bands with the iconic Knox Farm stables as a backdrop.
“This concert series highlights some of the best original music from Buffalo and beyond. We have a great line-up of regional musicians and can’t wait for everyone to experience some great music down on the farm,” said event
producer and 42 North Brewery founder, John Cimperman.
Sunset at the Stables will kick things off on Friday, July 11 with South Buffalo’s Johnny Hart & The Mess, who will bring their energy and original rock sounds back to the park for a second year.
On Friday, July 18, Sunset at the Stables Week welcomes back Leroy Townes Band. Leroy and the band have taken the stage at Borderland Festival, Sportsmen’s Tavern, and packed the house in venues across the region.
Week three of the Series, Smilo and The Ghost will bring their hard-driving, old-time influenced folk-rock to the concert series. Smilo and the Ghost have opened for national acts like Grammy Award Winning country duo Dan + Shay and alt-rock legends 10,000 Maniacs.
Finally, to wrap up the music series, Sunset at the Stables welcomes AJ & the Woods to Knox Farm for the first time. AJ & The Woods, from Cleveland, Ohio, were voted the best folk artist in Cleveland in 2023.
