Steel Leaf Brewing Company today officially announced that it is planning on opening a brewery and tap Room on
Iconic Hertel Avenue located at 1488 Hertel Ave.

It is anticipated that the new Steel Leaf Brewing Tap Room will open by mid-year in 2024.

“We are so excited to bring our unique creative beer and high-quality pub food to Hertel,” stated brewery owner Jeff Pitts – Paulison. “In discussion with our team, it was clear that when this space became available, it was like a dream location. Right in the heart of Hertel Ave., where there is so much fun activity, families, dog walking, friends, shopping and community. The community aspect is so important to us, and that makes this a perfect fit for our next taproom destination.”

The new Hertel Tap Room will feature seating for 75 guests and will feature a large bar, main dining area, outdoor patio, and small event space. The venue will also include a small production brewery for making R&D experimental beers, enabling patrons of the Hertel Tap Room to be the first to taste new beers that Steel Leaf is developing.

“While it does look like we will be leaving our Transit Road location, it’s going to take a few months, so be sure to stop by and say hi while we are still there. Currently we are hyper focused on delivering an outstanding taproom experience at the new location in Buffalo in support of our customers,” Pitts – Paulison continued.

Steel Leaf will shortly begin hiring staff for the new Hertel Tap Room project. Interested applicants should visit their website at www.steelleafbrewing.com for job listings and application instructions.
