The Western New York Brewers Guild is excited to present WNY Beer Week, an opportunity to celebrate beer produced in Western New York. WNY Beer Week highlights the quality, diversity, and the economic impact that local craft beer provides for the entire Western New York Region.

Breweries all over Western New York are crafting a variety of exciting new beers to be served at their tap rooms beginning September 23, the first day of WNY Beer Week. As a result, craft beer enthusiasts will be able to try a beer they’ve never had before at any brewery they visit during the week. Currently, Western New York is home to over 60 craft breweries. Western New York has led the way for New York State to become the 4th largest craft beer producer in the country and contributed over $5.4 Billion dollars of Economic Impact to the state’s economy. Additionally, the local craft beer industry employs thousands of Western New York residents and contributes significant dollars to local causes and not-for-profit organizations.

“Western New York is fortunate to be home to so many great breweries that offer diverse experiences to people of all ages; whether it be a tasting room, a restaurant, or a distribution brewery, we cover it all,” states WNY Brewers Guild President Jason Havens. “Our breweries collectively generate a tremendous amount of positive economic impact across our 7-county region in terms of job creation, wages, and community donations. So please join us for WNY Beer Week by visiting a local brewery or participating retailer, raise a pint of WNY beer, and help us Celebrate Beer Made Here.”
