Platter’s Chocolate Factory and Ellicottville Brewing Company are back with a new Chocolate Hazelnut Porter as
well as the rerelease of their iconic Orange Chocolate Blonde Ale.

The brand new Chocolate Hazelnut Porter includes hints of specialty English chocolate malts and a fantastic
hazelnut aroma reminiscent of everyone’s favorite chocolate spread. The Orange Chocolate Blonde Ale is brewed
with locally produced milk chocolate and zesty, sweet orange citrus.

This new Chocolate Hazelnut Porter will be the sixth addition to the beer catalog between Platter’s Chocolate Factory
and Ellicottville Brewing Company. It all started back in 2019 when the two companies came together to create the
Orange Chocolate Blonde Ale.

EBC’s Head Brewer Dan Miner says, “It’s great to work with the family and staff at Platters; they are a fun-loving
family, driven by generations of hard work, creativity, and a devotion to bringing only the best quality confections to
Buffalo. I enjoy going behind the scenes at their beautiful production facility and showroom in the Wurlitzer
building. Feeling like a kid in a candy store, I am inspired to create new beers.”

“Each beer has been carefully selected to represent the seasonal candies offered at Platter’s Chocolate Factory. EBC
then brews this using their own fine ingredients in addition to the same ingredients we use to make the candy each
beer represents,” says Heidi Urban, Platter’s vice president.

The Orange Chocolate Blonde Ale and the Chocolate Hazelnut Porter will be available predominantly in Western
New York bars and grocery/beer stores.
