The story of how One-Eyed Cat Brewing came to open their taproom in Williamsville started in an alley on Genesee Street with an invite from a local metal fabrication shop.

Brandon Farrell, owner of Buffalo Brew Fab, started hosting pop-up events at his shop back in 2019 where he invited local vendors from the area to come sell their items. He also invited Patrick Alexanderson and Brian Butler, two homebrewers who had plans for starting up One-Eyed Cat Brewing, to come share samples of their beers. Then he invited Jay Woodworth and Ryan Walser, owners of Pork Bellies BBQ, to provide some tasty bites. That’s how everyone met.

Fast forward to 2021, when OECB started making plans to open a place together on Main Street in Williamsville, and that’s how their location came to be.

Now, to celebrate their roots, the brewery are hosting a Back To The Alley party on Saturday, September 24 from 12 to 5pm.

And, just like the original pop-up events, they are inviting local vendors including Buffalo Brew Fab, SevenOneSix Wood Design, BuffaWix Candles, Loyal T Company, Life Is Succulent, Mel’s K9 Cafe, and Glass Glam to set up tables outside.

Head brewer Patrick will be pouring beer samples from a jockey box on the lawn and Pork Bellies BBQ will be adding a fan favorite from the pop-up events, their BBQ Sundaes, to the menu for the day.

Join One-Eyed Cat for this special event that’s all about bringing local businesses together to support one another!
