The Ridge West Seneca has made their first official hire, naming Jon Robare the general manager of the restaurant and brewery.  Robare, a graduate of Niagara University, has nearly 25 years of management experience working in the food and beverage industry. He most recently served as the general manager for Clarksburg Cider Company in Lancaster and has enjoyed success at a variety of other well-known WNY establishments.

“This is a great opportunity for me and my family,” said Robare. “I know that the ownership team and I share the same vision for The Ridge. We want it to be a place the West Seneca Community is proud to visit, promote and enjoy.”

“We were really impressed with Jon’s knowledge and passion for creating high energy, and high quality dining and brewing experiences,” said the Ridge ownership team. “It was important for us to get Jon on board now, so that he could have input on some of our kitchen and dining architecture and design.”

The Ridge West Seneca is located at 555 Orchard Park Road in West Seneca. The plans and build out began in earnest earlier this year and residents should start to see some major changes to the façade in the coming months. In February, it was announced that the brewery will introduce a self-pouring system that will feature custom brewed Ridge beers, as well as a variety of other selections.

The Ridge West Seneca is managed by 555 Orchard Park Road, LLC and is comprised of four business leaders familiar to the WNY business community. Randy Pawlik is the owner and president of Bison Elevator. Pawlik was a driving force in the development of the West Seneca Soccer Complex and has served various roles on its board of directors. Pat Sgroi, president of Sgroi Financial, is well known to the West Seneca business community. Pat and his family have spent over 40 years serving the needs of the community both as a business and community leader. Dave Sutton, principal of Sutton Architecture, is highly regarded for his work around WNY, including New York Beer Project in Lockport, Britesmith Brewing Company in Williamsville and NEAT Restaurant on Transit Road in Williamsville. Honan is president of Gymratts LLC, a production company that produces Gymratts, a 30-minute show seen on the ESPN family of networks that profiles college sports and their commitment to athletic training. Pawlik, Sutton and Honan are all graduates of West Seneca West. Sgroi graduated from West Seneca East.
