July 3 sees two can releases at 42 North Brewing Company. The brewery is releasing a limited run of Gose Off The Rails Pineapple & Cherry Gose and the next installment of their creative hop combo series, Hopography #004, using experimental hop HBC 472.

Both of the new beers will be available for pre-order starting Tuesday and available for pick-up at 42 North on Saturday and for biergarten & taproom enjoyment. You can also pick-up these beers at local craft beer stores starting next week through Buffalocal.

Gose Off The Rails pays homage to the well-known train derailment that took place on May 18 in the center of East Auroras Main St. business district just a block from the brewery. Luckily no one was hurt and the village remained virtually undamaged making this historic event a memorable “where-were-you-when” story to share over a beer just like this one. You’ll find loads of pineapple and sweet cherry with a touch of vanilla resulting in this summer take on a traditionally-refreshing gose.

“We kept this light and refreshing so craft beer fans can have a few of these in a sitting or while heating up your grill-fired Hawaiian pizza this Fourth Of July,” says Matt Matuszewski, head brewer at 42 North.

Hopography #004 is the fourth installment of 42 North’s experimental hop combination line, The Hopography Series. Hop #004 is the first Double IPA in the series. Made with Kviek yeast, this easy drinking pale DIPA was made with Citra, Mosaic, and HBC472. Notes of citrus fruit, coconut, mango combined with a resinous hoppy bite that balances this 8.5% DIPA. Pair it with your favorite Fourth Of July favorites burgers and sausages.
