If you blink you just might miss the chance to enjoy a pint of Big Ditch Brewing’s Galaxy-Mosaic IPA, the latest in their ever-increasing Innovation Series line of experimental small batch beers. This beer is a juicilicious, sticky hop bomb with tempered bitterness and tropical and lightly floral hop flavors abound. “Our “Innovation Series” are new beers we only brew in small pilot batches in the brewery,” Big Ditch’s Matt Kahn says. “Not a beer we can make very often – get it while you can.” Supplies are very limited, so finish reading this and go get yourself some.
12 Gates Brewing Elderberry Wheat (4.8% ABV)

While big dark beers are normally the drink of choice for craft beer drinkers this time of year, it’s not a crime to want something other than a stout, porter or barleywine. 12 Gates Brewing agrees with that sentiment because their latest offering isn’t thick and/or dark, it’s actually an Elderberry Wheat, a new autumn varietal brewed with Michigan elderberries and carbonated to a spritzy finish. “It’s super yummy and a great transition into the autumn season,” the brewery says of the new release. You can find Elderberry Wheat on tap now at the Williamsville brewery.

Beer and pro wrestling go hand in hand. Know what else goes hand in hand with beer – Mexican food, which is something 42 North and Deep South are out to prove with the new collaboration LuchaBrew, an amber lager that features balanced malts with honey and caramel notes blended with the soft lemon-spice of German noble hops that finishes smooth and crisp. “This beer was specifically crafted for Deep South Taco,” stated 42 North’s Chief Brewing Officer, Clay Keel. “The LucaBrew is a true collaboration with Deep South Taco. We went through a number of recipes until, together, we identified the ideal beer to complement the innovative menu at Deep South Taco.” The beer can be had exclusively at Deep South Taco locations and 42 North’s East Aurora taproom.
