42 North has announced this year’s brewery and music lineup for the 2nd Annual Barrel Jam Beer Festival set to take place on January 29, 2022.
As one of the first breweries in the area to focus on the art of barrel-aged beers, the brewery will showcase dozens of barrel-aged beers from around the state to celebrate this artistic side of brewing and increase awareness of this barreling process around WNY.
The “outdoor/indoor” festival will be held at 42 North from 2-6pm. Tickets are on-sale online and in the taproom.
This years participating breweries include KCBC, Prison City, Beer Tree, Wild East Brewing, Eli Fish, 42 North Brewing, Allagash, Firestone Walker, Community Beer Works, Thin Man, Heritage Hill, Meiers Creek, Blackbird Cider, Clarksburg Cider and Lilly Belle Meades. Each brewery will bring select barrel-aged beers for tastings and have representatives on hand to chat about the process of brewing & aging each beer.
As in year one, Barrel Jam will host a ‘Rail Jam’ presented by the Holiday Valley Parks team, where local skiers and snowboarders will participate in an open rail jam showcase.
The festival celebrates 42 North’s favorite season, winter, by featuring live music “outside by the fire” from local jam band ‘Soular Plexus & Company’ performing two sets in the biergarten followed by Buffalo funk band ‘Farrow’ in the taproom starting at 7pm.
