Southern Tier Brewing Company, renowned for its innovative craft beers, has partnered with Perry’s Ice Cream to create a one-of-a-kind brew inspired by Perry’s newest flavor: Cherry Pie Ice Cream. The result of this delicious collaboration is the Cherry Pie Imperial Ale, a bold and flavorful 8.6% ABV beer that combines the best of both brands’ expertise in crafting indulgent experiences.
Drawing inspiration from Perry’s Cherry Pie Ice Cream, which features rich cherry ice cream with swirls of cherries and crunchy graham crackers, Southern Tier’s Cherry Pie Imperial Ale offers a unique twist on dessert-inspired beers. This robust ale delivers notes of tart cherries, sweet vanilla, and flakey biscuit notes, balanced by a bold imperial backbone and a smooth finish. Perfect for sipping, this limited-edition brew is a celebration of flavor and creativity.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Perry’s Ice Cream for the third year in a row,” said Brandon Hank, Brand Manager at Southern Tier Brewing Company. “We began with Perry’s signature Vanilla Scoop, and, due to fan excitement, came back last year with Orange Twist. Now, we’re excited for our evolution to Cherry Pie; it perfectly matches the passion Southern Tier Brewing Company and Perry’s both have for innovation and fun.”
“The partnership with Southern Tier Brewing Company allows both brands to showcase their creativity in flavor innovation,” added Nichole Buryta, Senior Brand Manager at Perry’s Ice Cream. “The Cherry Pie Imperial Ale captures the essence of Perry’s new Cherry Pie Ice Cream and is the perfect way to bring the flavor to life in a whole new format.”
The Cherry Imperial Ale is immediately available on tap at Southern Tier’s five Taproom locations, the new craft brand will be arriving on shelves at retailers across New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and other Southern Tier markets, including Consumer Beverage Center, Giant Eagle, Dash’s Market, Sheetz, Tops Markets, Total Wine, Walmart, 7 Eleven, Speedway, Wegmans Food Markets and local independent retailers in March.
