Best known for their assortment of pizzas, sports bar atmosphere and live entertainment, Santora’s Pizza Pub & Grill will be opening a third restaurant location at Walden Galleria. This location will become their first restaurant with a full brew house facility and plans to brew their own beer under the name ‘1927 Brew House.’ The Buffalo-based brand and restaurant will open in the former 9,000 sq. ft. Gordon Biersch Brewery location across from The Cheesecake Factory.
In 1927, Fioravanti Santora began making and selling pizza in the Buffalo area, eventually becoming the first to sell pizza throughout Western New York. Santora’s Pizza Pub & Grill has become a household name in the community and is operated by the family’s third generation, Paul Santora and Scott Wexler. The concept is based on traditional Italian and American cuisine with a 93-year history of having one of the best pizzas in the area, a sports bar and now a full-service brewery.
“We are excited to be opening our first brewery location. It gives us the ability to expand our brand identity, produce styles of our own beer and to offer them at all of our locations,” says Paul Santora. “We have hired an amazing brewmaster with years of experience and plan to put the same love and history into beer making as we do our menu items.”
Santora’s Pizza Pub & Grill at Walden Galleria will operate with a full menu including a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, strip steak, skillet salmon, pasta, pizza and, of course, chicken wings. The brew house will craft several different beer types and styles including a Pilsner, Ale, IPA, Stout and Hard Seltzer.
Plans to open the restaurant and brewery are set for later this year, joining their other existing locations on Millersport Highway and Transit Road in Williamsville.
