Irondequoit Beer Company is hosting the first 585 Stout Fest, featuring 30 local breweries, at their taproom at 795 Titus Ave. 30 stouts brewed by each participating brewery will be on rotation Saturday, February 4th from 12-10pm.

“When I first started drinking beer, I stuck with stouts, exclusively, so the style has always been near and dear to my heart,” Nate Kester, head brewer at Irondequoit Beer Company, said. “To be able to bring together so many other incredible Western NY breweries, all paying tribute to the style that jump started my whole beer adventure, is pretty special for me.”

Participating breweries include Bird House, Brewery Ardennes, Copper Leaf, DisBatch Brewing, Eli Fish, Frequentem, Heroes, Iron Tug, Irondequoit Beer Company, K2, Knucklehead, Lock 32, Mortalis, Naked Dove, Naples Brewing, Nine Maidens, Nine Spot, Noble Shepherd, Okay Beer Co, Peacemaker, Reinvention, Rising Storm, Roc Brewing, Sager, Stoneyard, Swiftwater, Three Heads, Triphammer, Wood Kettle and Young Lion.

“I’m so excited that we’re able to do Stout Fest at Irondequoit Beer Company,” Quinn Whelen, IBC’s bartender and coordinator of the festival, said. “The beer community in Rochester has always been so fascinating to me with the amount of collaboration that goes on. I’m really looking forward to hanging out, pouring (and drinking) some beautifully crafted dark beers and talking to people who enjoy them equally.”

Tickets for 585 Stout Fest are $40 and includes a 10oz. commemorative glass and all stout pours. Live music will be provided by North Star String Band from 4-8pm. Tent, Outdoor fire pits and a special food menu will also be available.
