The Pink Boots Society (Buffalo, NY Chapter) is ready to debut their 2021 Collaboration Brew. “Hazy Girl,” a New England IPA bursting with tropical, citrus, and stone fruit aromas, will be released Friday, April 4.

“Hazy Girl” was designed to let the hops shine through the nose. It’s light bodied and super soft with low bitterness. The beer was brewed with the 2021 Pink Boots Society hop blend from Yakima Chief Hops.

On March 7, women working and studying in the WNY craft beer and beverage industry joined forces to brew a new IPA at Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. Participants included staff members from Pressure Drop Brewing, Rusty Nickel, Live Edge Brewing, Lilly Belle Meads, Windy Brew, Content on Draft, and students from Erie Community College’s Brewing Sciences Program.

A portion of the proceeds from this beer will be donated to Pink Boots Society, a global organization with a mission to assist, inspire, and encourage women beer and fermented alcoholic beverage professionals through education. The organization uses funds raised from the Collaboration Brew Day to offer members industry support and scholarships.

The beer will be available on draft at Rusty Nickel and in 16 oz. cans, which will be sold at participating breweries.
