Tickets Remain for NYS Craft Brewers Festival Buffalo

A limited amount of tickets still remain for Western New York’s premier summer craft beer festival, New York State Craft Brewers Festival Buffalo, which returns to Canalside on June 25 (2-6pm). Experience fresh craft beer from over 50 breweries from every corner of the state and meet the people who make the beer you love. The brewers and owners will pour at this festival and are excited to share their beer and knowledge with you! Enjoy local food trucks, artisan vendors and a farm-to-table tent. Tickets are $55 ($65 day of) and include a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited samples.

Tickets Remain for Inaugural Elmwood Summerfest

The Beer Keep, Jack Rabbit and Breezy Burrito Bar are joining forces to present the inaugural Elmwood Summerfest on June 26 in the Elmwood Village. The festival will showcase 15+ bands & performers on a large outdoor stage located in the middle of Elmwood Ave. Also featured will be the Buffalo Eats 1st Annual Hot Dog Eating Competition, a Live Art installation and a Genesee Brewing beer tent featuring your favorite beers, ciders and seltzers. General admission festival passes will be $25 in advance with a limited number of VIP passes available for $50. Tickets are available immediately at elmwoodsummerfest.com.

Community Beer Works, Tops Partner for Good Neighbor Summer Program

CBW and Tops Friendly Markets have launched the Good Neighbor Summer 2022 Program to benefit this year’s Ride for Roswell. Now through July 4, proceeds from every 6-pack of Good Neighbor IPA sold at Tops Friendly Markets will be donated directly to the Ride. Additionally, participating customers are entered into daily prize draws, with one grand prize of being named a CBW brewer for a day. For every 6-pack sold, CBW and Tops will each donate $1 to the Ride for Roswell. To win prizes, participants can scan a QR code located in participating stores throughout Western New York.

12 Gates Teams with Eli Fish on New Beer, Partners with Former Bills Star

12 Gates Brewing and Eli Fish Brewing have teamed up on Fruit Explosion, a new fruited sour with pineapple, kiwi, strawberry, dragon fruit, lemon, and other tropical fruit flavors, which will be released on June 24 (12pm). Fruit Explosion will be available on draft and in 16oz. 4-packs to-go and wherever good craft beer is sold following that. For the release, there will be live music at the taproom from 7-10pm from The River Dogs.

12 Gates, along with Taquito Lindo, have partnered with former Buffalo Bills star Harrison Phillips and Harrison’s Playmakers as the charity for funds raised through the sale of Pancho’s Legacy Lager. 5.14% of can sales will be donated to the Playmakers in memory of late Bills super fan Ezra Castro, aka Pancho Billa. Harrison’s Playmakers promotes social inclusion and kindness with year-round sports programs and activities for kids with developmental differences and special needs.

WNY Craft Brewery Week Kickoff at Pressure Drop Brewing

Western New York Craft Brewery Week, sponsored by the Western New York Brewers Guild, gets underway on June 27 (6pm) with special dunk tank event at Pressure Drop. Dunk your favorite city brewery employees! $10 will get you 3 throws, and beer from each regional brewery will be available for purchase. You will have the chance to dunk Rudy Watkins from Thin Man, Ryan Demler from CBW, Corey Catalano from Big Ditch, Evan Flury from Flying Bison, Andrew Zach from Resurgence, Karl Kolbe from Pressure Drop and Bryan Kirchmyer from OFW.

Hamburg Brewing to Release Deep Fried Fair Beer

In addition to brewing the competition winning homebrew for this year’s Erie County Fair, Hamburg Brewing will also release Deep Fried Fun Cream Ale, which is brewed with deep fried Fair food items. According to head brewer Jason King, Deep Fried Fun is “light, crisp, refreshing and fun.” The new beer will be available wherever great craft beer is sold next week. Kegs of Deep Fried Fun are also available at Hamburg’s taproom.

42 North Re-Release Sipstream, Official Beer of Empire State Ride

42 North Brewing will re-release Sipstream Empire State Pale Ale, the official beer of the Empire State Ride, where 300 cyclists will journey from New York City to Niagara Falls in an effort to fight cancer, on June 22 (6pm). The beer features Excelsior, Cascade and Centennial hops for notes of tropical fruit, citrus, melon and light pine. Proceeds of every case sold will be donated to the Empire State Ride and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Sipstream will also be available wherever great beer is sold.
